Our data centre provider has advised us that their High Voltage and Low Voltage switchgear will be served on Thursday 15th June between 08:00 and 17:00.
The power load in the data centre will be supported by backup generators, and the supplier has stated that no planned outage is expected.
One of our core Wessex Internet backhaul circuits terminates in this London data centre, as well as some key services that are used for the core management of the network. These will be considered 'at-risk' during the maintenance window.
We do not anticipate any outage based on our provider's information, however there is the risk due to critical live systems being operated on.
Wessex Internet operates with multiple backhaul circuits in case of issues, so we do not anticipate any outages for customers even if there were to be an issue. Our teams will be monitoring the maintenance closely in any case.
